At first, it is simply a name.
Then the eyes appear: two O's, one open and one closed. Between them, the K becomes the bridge of a pair of glasses — a way of looking at the world.
In several Slavic languages "oko" means eye. So, OKO is about seeing, but also about what remains unseen. We never take in the whole picture at once; perspective changes depending on where we are looking from.
And then there is "K·X".
It is part of the name, but its meaning takes a little longer to reveal itself. In mathematics, "K" can represent a constant and "X" a variable. What is constant is continually challenged by what changes.
Perhaps OKO works in the same way. The longer you look, the more there is to see.
